Deep in the Heart of the Mish

Still somewhat recovering from NYE, we set out to make Friday a more low-key kinda day... We woke up with some of the best news of the new year - Olivia's flight home got cancelled! One more day in SF, baby! #ThanksSnowpocalypse!

A celebration was in order, to say the least. So after a few extra hours in bed, we showered and pulled ourselves together to go meet up with the boys. We were given instructions on what to tell our Uber driver, and some 20 minutes later, we found ourselves in a little alley, deep in the heart of the Mission district...

But we ventured inside and found a super fun and laid back beer-garden!

The boys had already done work on a few pitchers, so we had some catching up to do. They taught us to play a game that involved dice and beer and finishing your drink before someone makes you drink again...

Quite a bit to take in but we caught on...!

They got a kick out of heavy-handed pours for the girls, those sneaks!

Don't worry, we didn't let them get away with it...

Alanna looks pretty good with these two on her arm, am I right?? :)

We got an order of these killer "sage fries" to supplement all the beer, and WOAH were they ever amazing!

A few rounds later, we decided to quit while we were ahead. We headed out towards Dolores Park and popped into the Bi-Rite market for some picnic fixins...

The temperature dropped quickly once the sun set... but it did make for a beautiful sky...!

We played some frisbee (or attempted to, in my case) to warm ourselves back up. By the time it was totally dark, the guys were hungry again, so it was deemed absolutely necessary that we hit up the famed El Farolito for truly authentic Mexican food...

We left with our toes warm and our bellies full! A perfectly low-key day. xo
